BIO
Growing up, Randy caught the artistic bug from his father. Randy Sr. was never professionally trained in the arts, it was a natural organic thing for him, drawing, sketching, painting, etc. His son was paying attention. Randy grew up in a blue-collar family, coincidentally, a family that had multiple members that worked for General Motors. Randy grew up in an automotive family and had a unique and firsthand viewpoint of the automotive industry. His father worked as an Inspector on the transmission line at the GM Powertrain Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, yet they lived in the tri-county city of Warren. That is a lot of time dedicated to the job but, he still made time for his family and only child. Randy would be with his father drawing with his crayons, then onto colored pencils and then he would eventually be in school studying digital graphic design based around the printing industry. Learning and understanding basic Offset, Digital Xerographic and now the quickly emerging Ink Jet technology. During that time, Randy became a part of the Ancor family. Randy has been with Ancor for over two decades now, starting with, holding, and growing through various positions within the Ancor operations space. Over the years, Randy has developed a wide variety of relationships within the industry including design, printing, automation, and fulfillment. This and his graphic design and printing knowledge, has given him the experience to prepare the Ancor operations space for new customers and programs, as well as aid with graphic design, project, and product development. He says being with this team this long; “It truly feels like family!”. Randy has also said; "Never thought I would be in a situation where both worlds would collide!". Randy obviously enjoys graphic design and technology but also enjoys things like gardening, golfing, entertaining around his bonfire with family and friends, home diy projects and occasionally, a good cigar.
