I have been in the accounting field for over 15 years but have had a love for numbers since I was a child. I joined the Ancor team in 2018 as a contractor until 2021 when I accepted a permanent position. Ancor has become more than just a workplace to me, it is a mini community of like-minded, passionate people I feel at home with. I believe my biggest achievement career wise is becoming the expert at adaptability. Rules, regulations, policies, and procedures change in my world daily along with the never-ending changes in technology, part of the reason I love my job so much.

Her experience covers various industries such as healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, finance, retail, and non-profit organizations, among others.
Proficient in a multitude of accounting software including QuickBooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Business Central, Laurie is adept at leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
In her current role as Controller at Ancor Automotive, Laurie has led accounting system migration projects and oversees all aspects of accounting, purchasing, and HR-related activities. Laurie serves as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and shareholders, demonstrating her strategic acumen and business insight.
